Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-09 00:00:00 Kevin Taylor Kathy Blankley's illustrations remain excellent (the spread with the crows was probably my favorite, but all her animals are as expressive in face and body language as were the humans in The King and the Tortoise ), but I wasn't as satisfied with the ending of this original story in the King of the Animals/Tortoise Trickster vein as I was hoping.
