I think that books that purport to be about weddings "in the real world" should lay off saying things like you MUST hand-write invitation envelopes and use proper addressing style. If we're in the real world in 2011, I'm going to print labels and address people as I always have. Anyone who isn't going to come to the wedding because they're offended by that doesn't really want to be there anyway.
