Review # 2 was written on 2018-03-19 00:00:00 Robert Torres World War II World War II is a nonfiction book written by Shirley Jordan. The World War II happened in December 7,1941. This book talks about the many death caused by the World War II and how it affected people's life. At first, Britain and France declare war on Germany because the commander Adolf Hitler sends troops into Poland. America’s first attack was in 1941. America Declares war on Japan Germany and Italy. Later in 1942, June America declares war on Bulgaria,Hungary, and Romania. A lot of people died and there was a lot of damage. France is the first to surrender. Because of the harsh attack, the Germans troops did the french loses control and are in need to surrender. In 1945 The war ends and Japan surrender. My book is a non-fiction book for many different reason. First of all, it talks about historical events that happened many years ago. Secondly, it contains many different facts about World WAR II. It also talks about real people and real continents that existed back then. Lastly, it’s important and it made a lot of countries fight and it affected countries and how people live. Some Facts about World War II is that first, it’s the German who started the war. Because of Adolf Hitler Germany attacked Poland and made France and Britain declare a war on Germany. Secondly, the Japanese people killed 2,403 people in an attack, 1,177 people died because of drowning and they stroke a bomb in a barrack which caused 100 people to die. Mostly Japanese did the most damage. Lastly, in 1945 Japan surrendered and wanted to make peace because of the American huge attack. This made World War II end. I think that the authors topic was a really good topic because this event stated 5 years of battle and it was really important event. It is a really important event that took an impact on a lot of people's life and in many different countries. I would recommend this book to people who loves history and wants to learn more about important historical events. This book contains many different facts for people to learn more about important things that it marked. It also contains a timeline to mark the different events that happened during the 5-6 years of world war. It also has many different topics for people to learn more about who caused it and why it happened. This is a good book that contains a lot of imagination and descriptions.
