Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-20 00:00:00 Joe Joe I enjoyed this book, although I must admit that I am currently struggling with the veracity of some of its claims about possible preternatural spiritual manifestations. One must use caution, however, in dismissively waving off the evidence and testimony of such a scientific thinker as Doyle; who was an MD, as well as a PhD in medicine. Those who think the man "unscientific" are fooling themselves, and should probably turn said finger at themselves. Though not currently a Spiritualist, I will admit that my interest has been piqued, and I intend to follow this evidential breadcrumb trail for a while and see where it ends. |
