From fainting goats to three - toed sloths, this book mentions and describes many different types of mammals. Each mammal is named, given a long and thought out description to provide children with the full picture of the animal, facts and all. This book would be good to use when doing a lesson about descriptions. This book has very detailed descriptions of the animals in it. It also includes a glossary for reference when students don't know the meaning of a word. This book will definitely show children the importance of being descriptive in order to allow the reader to cully comprehend the writing.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-11-05 00:00:00 Henry Miller I went through a mountain goat phase in elementary school where it was my favorite animal. Nice, simple non-fiction book.
