The book Read about Walt Disney by Stephen Feinstein is a biography about Walt Disney and his life. It starts off by telling the reader where Walt Disney was born and what his childhood was like. The book then goes on to describe different activities that he enjoyed doing when he was younger, such as taking care of the farm animals, but the thing he really loved to do was to draw. The book tells us how Walt Disney finally got started in the cartoon industry and then eventually started the Disney Brothers Studio with his brother, Roy. While riding on a train to Hollywood, Walt Disney started drawing, which turned out to be the infamous Mickey Mouse. The book ends by talking about a few movies that did extremely well, such as Cinderella and Bambi. The age range for this book would be for children in first to second grade. The reason for this is because any larger words are pointed out and the definition is given to the reader. Also, any other language that is used is simple enough for that age range to understand the vocabulary. The art that is used throughout the book is realistic photographs of Walt Disney and his family. There is one picture of a Disney cartoon that is used also. This book was given two stars because there really is not a lot of bright colors used. The content is not really too exciting, so this may not hold a childs attention. This would be a good book if a child is looking to find specific information on Walt Disney.

This is a great book for any youth non-fiction collection! With amazing illustrations, young readers will be thrown into the mix of how different armies went about not only attacking a castle, but how best to defend it. The text is easy to understand and the action is throughout the book. A great book for any knight, castle, medieval fan.
