It provides the reader with information about where emperor penguins live, and takes you on a journey into the frozen land of Antarctica. I really enjoyed this book because it gives you some smaller images on the page that are blown up to show you a different perspective. This book is definitely geared toward elementary school aged children, but some middle school kids might have interest in it if they loved penguins. I could use this in a classroom setting if we were studying about penguins maybe even when talking about different climates and what kind of animals live where.
