Review # 1 was written on 2013-05-06 00:00:00 Brad Davis Definitely an academic book. I must totally agree with the reviewer who wrote that she almost put the book down before the first chapter. If you can get past the dreary writing style, the story of Persian carpetmaking is fascinating and sad.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-08-27 00:00:00 Mina Roditis The book provides an overview about the world history. The author lists out the date and relevant events, classifying into different continents. The thing I do not like in this book is that the event description is too short so that the reader can not understand the meaning. By the way, some events enclose with picture so the book looks really nice.
