This book is really good for learning JAXP/DOM/SAX APIs and JAX-WS, JAX-RS APIs. I had read a couple of books before that and was not so satisfied since XML transformation is a big topic and mostly used in app developement. However, this book is so well structured the topics are really covered in depth. It has covered XML, XSLT and Webservices and so was my focus. If you are dealing with these technologies everyday and you have gained knowledge through work but just want to know in depth about them then I would definitely recomend this book. Easy explanation, well structured and included some really good examples. Happy reading :)

What a horribly convoluted and badly written book! The activities at the end of the chapter are so unbelievably stupid! It has things such as: Just below the newly entered declaration for oneSite, add an integer declaration as follows: int siteNum; and "Between the curly braces, type: ..." It makes it so hard to read. Just show the code!
