Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-13 00:00:00 Wilfredo Yau Dan the Ant is a great story about an ant and his adventure to try and get a snack. He starts by making a plan and putting it into action. Ending in his success, when he finds his dream snack. Dan the Ant is a great book for beginning readers who are starting to get a hang of informational texts. At the end of the book, the text includes fun facts about ants and even a great snack idea that includes celery and raisins that represent ants walking in a straight line. I could use this book in my class as a science text to intorduce ants and their attributes.
