Review # 1 was written on 2016-06-01 00:00:00 Jon Long I was very excited to read this book because I always like to learn more about the hobby. But most of the information does no pertain to barbs. The section on aquascaping was not necessary and did not mention or fit into the context of barbs at all. Most of the scientific information is missing a lot of vital details like in the section regarding diseases, which fails to provide important information on treatments for diseases. This is a decent book for someone who has never encountered the hobby before and serves as a gateway into forums, groups, clubs, and the LFS community.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-02-04 00:00:00 Jean-paul Hild 350 years of history packed into such a wee book! I'm very impressed with how much material was covered. It was certainly fast-paced, but I still felt like I got a lot out of it.
