Review # 1 was written on 2019-06-01 00:00:00 Steven Batchelder I used this guide for a hikes in the Upper Peninsula. The trail descriptions were quite accurate. The maps were a bit lacking, as were directions on how to get to the trailhead. Some readers also might like one of those matrixes at the beginning which tell the trail's length, terrain, GPS coordinates, etc.; this guidebook lacks this, though I don't hold it against the author because frankly I find matrixes full of useless information that often appears in the description (I'd rather he space be taken up by a longer description or a photo of the trail). Anyway, worth picking up if hiking in Michigan!
