I feel like I should have just checked out the bibliography section and read those books instead. most of the book was just a collection of copy-paste texts from them anyway. WAIT!!! WHAT?! just copied down the bibliography and it references Wikipedia 😲... yeah, I'm going to read one of these other reference books... |
Review # 2 was written on 2021-01-05 00:00:00 Guilllaume Lalande....Well my conclusion, some chapters are ok with most of the interesting information about pirates and their History taken from Johnson/Defoe. In general, I didn't enjoy it but certainly there are very few impressive parts that I related them from movies. I am not an expert editing or publishing books but I believe this book could have undergone some more work before hitting the shelves. |
