Proper insulation (including around lighting and outlets. Installing ceiling fans (best description I have seen). Cleaning water heaters and AC units, installing sofet vents and testing for backdrafts ... etc. I used this books description to install sofets properly on the garage/family room.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-09-27 00:00:00 Dennis Dougherty i've gotten this book from the library multiple times, and may just buy it - this book is great for anyone who's handy and likes to work around the house - or those who don't!! i really liked how it gave different projects, and rated them on the ratio of effort involved to energy conservation payoff. still have a number of them on my to-do list... :)
