Review # 1 was written on 2017-12-17 00:00:00 Charles Rash Great companion piece to Capital and the two volumes of Cap. and Schizophrenia by D&G. I'm working through this right now, and I'm really learning a lot from Thoburn. While he doesn't have the marquee fame of say, Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt, he has deeply worked through the intersection of Marxism and Post-Modern Theory in an extremely thoughtful manner. I appreciate books like this on many levels. Takes on theoretical questions without saying goodbye to materialism. Knows that there are still many big questions yet to be asked regarding radical politics. To think the impossible is to be a realist and demand the impossible. |
