Review # 1 was written on 2020-12-24 00:00:00 Vicki Miccoli This book is about basic rights and responsibilities as people. The themes are quite universal. What we can do as a responsible society. It touches on common law, racial harmony, responsible financial planning etc. Not a good read. It was outside my genres. Guess I should start reading about themes outside my "box". |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-02-14 00:00:00 Brian Colon Very good on the topic of nineteenth century agricultural labourers. Helped immensely with my master's essay--my lecturer recommended this book as a must! At points it gets a bit hard to read, but in academia, what book isn't? Would definitely recommend if you are researching about the rural working class in nineteenth century England, especially in regards to agricultural labour. |
