Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-03 00:00:00 Harvey Singer The sequel to the wonderful MEELY LABAUVE, this time features the less than likeable protagonist, Junior Guidry. Having lost his leg in an accident, along the way Junior learns some life lessons and becomes more of a passable human being. Once again Ken wells delivers a Cajun winner!

Review # 2 was written on 2018-02-09 00:00:00 Gerald Parks Laissez les bon temps rouler! So this ain't high falutin' lit. but it's sure enough a rollicking good tale with faulty yet lovable characters and a slough of Cajun patois to fill a shrimp boat. It's the second of a trilogy but can stand alone just fine. I'll read the others. Walter Benjamin be damned this here was fun!
