Review # 1 was written on 2019-02-16 00:00:00 David Lass This feels like a book I should have greatly enjoyed. The stories were mostly new to me and I had an interest in a lot of them. It shows the dark side of fame as well as the funnier moments. There is a lot to learn from. The reason I didn't enjoy the book was the author's contributions. Pithy, humourless and grating at times. He turned funny moments into apathetic ones. Nearly every story could have been better without his writing style and additional commentary. Worth reading for the stories. Hard to read due to the author. |
