Review # 1 was written on 2017-09-24 00:00:00 Matthew Cardello Gotta luv these boys who search out and adopt a baby deer, after its mother is accidentally killed. They feed and nuture him until he is Reserve ready. Oh but my favourite character is Ziggy's mum - Mrs Colwin. She is just all mum. She sees things they never think she will see, and knows things they just don't understand how she knows. She can be sweet and encouraging but she's no push over, And, she can quiet a stampede of animals and children just by walking into her living room with one question "What is all this botheration?" A boys story, girls too will love.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-12-08 00:00:00 Rick Rhoades i like this book alot this book is about four kids looking at a construction site until a construction worker hit a deer. the fout boys saw a fawn(baby deer) and wraped it in a red sweater and brought it in his house. Him and his friends made a plan so Ziggys mom couldn't see them. Ziggy told his mom that he was hungry and his mom made him lazania and jelly because it was his favorite.When his mom was making the lazania and jelly his mom said"What are you doing to do with the fawn.Ziggy said mom how you know. Ziggy's mom said"You can't hide anything from me" and said let me see it. Ziggy brought her to the room and she saw it. The fawn was screaming. Ziggy asked his mom what happened. She said in Jamacia we raised goats and every time a goat screams its hungry. Ziggy said what milk are we suppose to feed it because deers do not drink cows milk. His mom said i have some goat milk in the basement from when your uncle was here and she will go warm it up. they fed the fawn and i fawn pooped on his blanket. they helped the fawn grow up and had a party like for it.they put up posters and told their friends that they have to bring their pet to their house their trying to raise money for the fawn and it costs 1.00 to get in.............. (theres more to the story my hand hurts)its nice
