[- No 'casing' the apt nor time to train the orangutan on which window and how to get it. - The bust/end was contraived garbage. There was no reason for the police to go there when they had said the police wouldn't even question the people without proof. There was no money thought for the hiring of the group - what if it wasn't them? Then the criminals never question the lack of decorations nor guests. - Why not just have the police visit and question the Fowlers? It would be plausible if nothing else as witnesses by being the closest group to the back window. - The downstairs neighbor doesn't mention the thief being short, extremely short. - The uncle never once discourages the snooping or encourages caution. - The children agree about taking the pony without any thought to asking parents, who will pay for feeding it, or how they will get it back home. Title: The Orange Outlaw Author: Ron Roy Series: A to Z Mysteries #15 Rating: ★★★★ Summary: O is for Orange... An art thief is on the loose! Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose are visiting Dink's Uncle Warren in New York City when several paintings are stolen from his apartment building. A trail of orange peels, a missing pie, and an orange hair are the only signs that someone was there. Do the kids have enough clues to catch this crafty'and hungry'crook? Review: Not as interesting as the others. Things I Loved: Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose's teamwork. Things I Hated: I never really got the mystery or why the guy did it... or why there were so many orange peels around the crime scene. Then again, I was only eight when I read the books...
