Review # 1 was written on 2020-06-02 00:00:00 Ronald Neely This information text book is filled beautiful photos of fifteen different breeds of horses. I would us this book for grades 2-4. I would introduce my lesson by asking about horses and also by using maps to point out where the various horses live. A list of vocabulary and facts sheets would accompany the discussion.

The illustrator draws landscapes better than people and that kind of ruined the book for me. It's a picture book about the transition from autumn to winter. The narration is short and to the point.
