A great book on the significance of affects and conative expression primarily in literature. Argues strongly for why reason and meaning is not enough to fully understand or appreciate art.

The political explication of Vattimo's (Rortian) Heideggerianism, viz., the concept of Verwindung (distortion). In hindsight, I should have read The Adventure of Difference first, which provides the exegetical and theoretical legitimization of this work.
