Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-11 00:00:00 Martin Ashton Probably the comfiest book I have ever read. It is both a collection of essays on general life and wonder, and memoirs of specific times travelled. My favorite, by far, was his explanation of a day spent cutting grass with a scythe, and another lad just pops up and asks to help him. His writing style had a way of making me drift to my own thoughts, but despite that, I had an amazing journey with Mr. Belloc from the Pyrenees peaks to the northern shores of Scotland, and all between.
