A textbook for physical therapists; not self-help. All about the slippery slope and its alternatives - stresses optimal diet; sound sleep and enough rest; aerobic, weight bearing, and stretching/balancing exercises; spirituality, and social discourse. I seem to be somewhere between fun and function on the slippery slope and need to work to keep frailty at bay while trying climb back up the curved vigor diagram which does not picture the final step, failure, until the age of 95+.
