Review # 1 was written on 2011-10-20 00:00:00 Sharlene Tennyson What I like about anthologies is that it allows me to read the stories of authors that have faded with time as well as those who have endured. Some authors perhaps should have faded, but the authors in this book are not one of them. I enjoyed all the stories, some more than others. All involve a doctor or medicine. Sometimes the doctor is the murderer, sometimes he is the victim, often he is the one who solves the mystery. Authors include: Arthur Conan Doyle, Jacques Futrelle, Anthony Wynne, Mignon Everhart, among others. Of special note is Helen McCloy who makes excellent use of human pscyhology.
