Review # 1 was written on 2020-01-04 00:00:00 Ron Bodnar Survey of the history of English in the PRC examined through the documents produced by People's Education Press for the high school English curriculum.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-10-17 00:00:00 David Lieb I read this around the same time as 'Baby Hunger' and 'What Our Mothers Didn't Tell Us' and predicted then that this book would be slaughtered disproportionately to the other two for saying some similar stuff simply because it is written by a man. Sure enough the reviews now on Amazon bear that out!! He has intruded on feminist turf! All 3 books are a bit of a post feminist backlash but there may be some unpalatable truth in some of what is said. A good starting point for a heated debate maybe?
