Review # 1 was written on 2012-01-21 00:00:00 Kent Serg A very informative and concise guide to understanding Vietnam's economic development strategies since the 1980s. The first chapter may be a bit too abstract, but nevertheless provides a good critical framework for the whole book. The rest of it, however, is very easy to digest, with concret examples and figures, and very clear narration. Short and brief as it is, the book is a valuable resource, though I had expected a deeper analysis.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-08-23 00:00:00 Jeremy LeCain Really fascinating history of the transformation from agriculture to textile mills in the Piedmont. I found the book's structure a little confusing at times, but overall I learned a lot and enjoyed reading it.
