Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-21 00:00:00 John Paul Wolforth This was an excellent book about organizing especially as it relates to your professional life. Even if you aren't an executive or don't aspire to be one, you can benefit greatly from what is discussed in the book. The author gives great examples of how to apply the techniques, and even some solutions from their consulting. Definitely, something I'll be referring to in the future. I read an older version (copyright 2001) so some of the information on the technology was outdated but still worth every page! Well done!! |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-11-27 00:00:00 Roxane Becker OMG! I read this book for laughs. The references to making business calls on pay phones in airports on layovers were a flash from somebody's past! While technology makes the strategies in this book extremely outdated, a couple of the fundamental things were still relevant. The only thing I took issue with (but had to remember when it was written) was that author referred to all the "executives" as men. All the "secretaries" were women. Stick to a more modern book for workable strategies. Read this for a good chuckle. |
