Review # 1 was written on 2020-06-04 00:00:00 Debra Dufek I would definitely recommend Pimsleur to anyone looking to learn a new language. Reading and writing is important, but speaking and listening seems to be the most effective place to start. Specifically, I think unit 2 teaches past tense more so than unit 1.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-11-25 00:00:00 Matthew Shaheen Huge improvement to the first course. Learned a lot. As a tool, I watch much netflix in spanish, and I unhderstand much more everyday. Every lesson teachs something I think is useful. Very few exceptions. Tried other learning methods and nothing so simple and mind sticking as Pimsleur. As I already speak Portuguese, which is also a Romantic language, I don´t need to keep pausing and re-hearing stuff. It just flows for the 30 minutes I listen and speak. It really is not a lot for the improvement it promotes. I do it driving or walking with my dog, and don´t need to spare any extra-time to do it. Love it.
