I started this book along with a couple others. Didn't finish it before I had to return it to the library. Maybe I'll pick it up again someday. Though interesting, it was a bit tough to get through. I've read 5 other books from start to finish since I first started this one - which means that I wasn't really that interested in it.

While I began reading 'Of God and Madness' with admittedly low expectations, I completed the book with an appreciation for T. Byram Karasu's novel about Adam's very unique coming of age. Adam's sometimes incoherent narrative left room for a few moments of brilliance, including his observation at the end of his journey that "I guess we are all suffering from a profound sort of misunderstanding."
