Review # 2 was written on 2017-09-28 00:00:00 John Bingley Do not read this book if you are into the clean, uncluttered, simplistic style that is pervasive in today's decorating shows & magazines. Clearly, that is not my style! I find it bland & uninteresting. I love the richness of layers in a home. Setting a vignette that tells a story & displays beautiful collections. I could spend hours in such a home & without knowing the owner or interacting with anyone, never be bored. Mary Carol is brilliant about just that. If that's your style as well, this book will most likely inspire you as it does me!
