Review # 1 was written on 2008-02-19 00:00:00 Vincent Lapi My kid bought me this book for Valentines Day. Since he's five, we won't really judge him on his lack of literary tastes. Yet. Give him a few years. Sentimentally, I read it. And then I hated it. Her writing seems to be aimed at the barely literate. She uses small words. Short sentences and repeats things over and over. Then again. And again, just to make sure the point was made. This book. It made me feel less intelligent, just for having read it.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-02 00:00:00 Steven Petty Awful, couldn't finish. The characters were "too perfect," and the father absolutely pathetic when he doesn't visit his daughter in the hospital because it's just "too hard." If I could talk to the book I'd tell the girls to get over themselves and to the dad to grow a pair. Doesn't even deserve one star.
