Norton contrasts classical liberalism with Greek eudaimonism, a theory much ignored in modern times. Norton makes a compelling case for a reversion to this Greek concept of living well or virtuously, particularly from our leaders. Norton makes reference to scandals of a simpler time, but his analysis is even more relevant now.
