Review # 1 was written on 2008-03-09 00:00:00 Robert Parks My piano teacher says that this book moves way too fast...I agree. But on the other hand I paid $30 to hear him tell me this for a half hour of his time. So i will give the book 3 stars, and my piano teacher 1 1/2 stars.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-01-26 00:00:00 Rochelle Dworetsky I found this at a used book annex at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, Conn. I had received an electric keyboard for Christmas 2012. The right book found its way to me at the right time. It was very hopeful to think I could teach myself, though. I found the right music teacher one year later. I used some of the basics in this book as the foundation for my lessons. Some years later I can honestly say that I can play piano: simple chord progressions, simple songs. I can even sing and play at the same time without getting totally muddled. Now, on to more challenging musical goals ....
