Review # 1 was written on 2016-10-28 00:00:00 Oliver James Another attempt at a poetic play by wagner. The grammatic constructions were really awkward in this one and I dunno if it's the translation but it was mostly devoid of imagery. Still got a nice spin on Christianity with paganism sprinkled in... the norse witch ortrud was great: Wodan the mighty, I call on thee! Freia the sublime, hear me! Bless me with guile and deceit, that my revenge may be sweet!
