Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-16 00:00:00 Gaga Gaga I enjoyed learning about the area of Seattle where I have worked for the past six years. But the book itself was strongly lacking a good editor. It repeated itself too much, and in one place a large section was duplicated word for word. Written more like a newspaper piece(the author is a journalist)it lacked the polish of good history, but I'm still glad I read it. Hopefully I will be retired and no longer working in SoDo when the big earthquake hits because my workplace will likely sink out of sight when the fill liquefies!

Review # 2 was written on 2016-03-29 00:00:00 Bob Jones This book probably had good info, but it was so annoyingly written & laid out, I could not take it. The maps were awful. Understanding the geography is impossible unless you're a native. Unhelpful photos and drawings.
