Review # 1 was written on 2018-03-05 00:00:00 William R Allen Great history of the area! I especially love this book because my Grandpa is in the "Alexander Family" photo near Shortoff Mountain. His Mother married Mr. Alexander.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-25 00:00:00 Lenaye Taylor A good reference for those trying to get a feel for the cities along the Charles River in the 1800's and early 1900's. Some excellent pictures, especially of the bridges in and around Boston. I'll agree with the previous reviewer that the audience is probably limited to those interested in local history or photos of the general time period. For those who do however it's a real gem and worth spending the time to get a better feel for the time and place depicted.
