Review # 1 was written on 2016-01-05 00:00:00 Timothy Gohr In this book, I was reminded how our sense of community has changed so much in the last hundred years. Town bands are gone, replaced by people posting videos of themselves playing music alone or with small groups on YouTube. Gatherings to ice skate or sled have given way to parents who must schedule play dates for their over-extended kids. Still, learning about local history and seeing how communities transform themselves is important. If we don't preserve and examine the past, we can't draw on the lessons it offers us that may become vital for our flourishing in the future.

I liked the images this book because it has nice images
