Review # 1 was written on 2019-02-04 00:00:00 John Estrada I loved this book. I am not a native Springfield resident, but Mike's book showed me the true history of my neighborhood and it was so informative and well organized that it was a joy to learn about my new city.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-06-16 00:00:00 Bryan Goodman My first time reading a book of this nature. I was surprised that it is a history compiled of photographs! It does make the narrative of Wichita emerging from the 19th into the 20th century all the more real and evocative to pair the text with images. Faces, locations, semi-recognizable landmarks--this was definitely an interesting read and got me more acquainted with the city.
