Review # 1 was written on 2016-03-19 00:00:00 Mark Pumel I want to start by saying I adore the series, Images in America. There hasn't been one book that I've read, and there have been many, that I didn't care for. This book, Sorcery in Salem I'm giving only 3 stars to. The book starts out with the historical photos and info bytes that are interesting to read. And to make a list of sites you want to visit or remember the sites you've been too. Then the book gets into the silly, what I call, quick buck money makers who almost look at the history of Salem and make it a laughing joke. That's when I became irritated. There is enough history to share without having to have goofy people included in the book. It helps to advertise them and doesn't teach those that are there as tourists trying to learn.
