Review # 1 was written on 2017-03-31 00:00:00 Thirdy Mayo Bowling Green, Kentucky is a city that I honestly knew very little about & yet after spending 3 weeks there for business earlier this year, this book in the "Images of America" series seemed appropriate to pick up. Jonathan Jeffrey in conjunction with the Kentucky library with this book does a decent job of the pictorial history of Kentucky's 3rd largest city (albeit with this book only going as far as 1950). The book is an interesting read as it highlights the diverse history of this city & also gives glimpses into where it is now. The books in this series are never perfect, but as an introductory history guide to this city this is a good place to start.
