Review # 1 was written on 2012-09-03 00:00:00 Lori Heagerty An interesting document about a crucial stage of American football's transition into professionalism. Although Pittsburgh and the future Steelers loom large over the story, most of the material is based in the smaller towns of Latrobe, Jeannette and Greensburg. It's worth pointing out that this is mostly a picture book, very light on text. Some of the photographs, though, are priceless, particularly the evocative shots of Latrobe quarterback John Brallier. |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-12-20 00:00:00 William Jones Some beautiful pictures and I was able to get a much better idea of where my ancestors came from. |
