Review # 2 was written on 2019-05-26 00:00:00 Rick Rhoades Delray Beach is a beautiful place! I had the opportunity to visit the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in April 2019 and it was a serene experience. Later as I drive to the downtown area of Delray Beach on Atlantic Avenue, I was in awe of what I saw. Many eateries and old-school buildings nestled within this artistic conclave of a town. Delray reminded me a little of Key West. This book was amazing in which the author compiled an equal mix of historical photographs with historical figures from Delray Beach's past. I learned of several old houses I didn't even know existed in the city such as the Vintage Rose House and the Price House. I hope to once again visit this great city and make further explorations of this beautiful town!
