It offers amazing realistic pictures that describe the weather and having short factorial statements next to each picture really helps describe what's occurring! This book is good for identifying the illustrations to the given text for context clues, and this could be used during literacy circles as well. It helps students to read sight words, identify pictures, and figure out what the story is talking about! I could create several mini science lessons using this book because it offers great breaking points for discussions, and it's a cool book to just look through for the pictures! Students can compare to what they've experienced outdoors!
