Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-08 00:00:00 Frank Butler I saw Bill and Pam Farrel on My New Day and really enjoyed their programs, so when I found this book at our local grocery store I picked it up. This was definitely worth the read. There was a lot in here that was very helpful, but one of the pieces of advice that was the most applicable to me was her suggestion to let go of people who are emotionally toxic in your life. Often, there are people in our lives that we are deeply invested in for whatever reason, and we continue to invest ourselves because we feel like we aren't allowed to back off. There are times when it's healthier to remove yourself from that situation and pray for that person, rather than stepping in and trying to fix it. You can still love and hope for the best for them, but you don't always need to become engaged personally, because it can be more destructive to both parties.

This book has guided me on the path not just of being a fine lady, but as a woman with substance, dignity, and compassion. For ladies, you would surely adore and love this book. It touches down to your core and helps you not on understanding things, but helps you to be a mature individual in the eyes of God.
