Review # 1 was written on 2020-03-07 00:00:00 Simone Ornaghi A collection of bird poems, including well known poets and anonymous scribes. The poems are loosely organized by season. I would've liked just a little bit more. The illustrations are stunning though and really carry the book for me.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-05 00:00:00 Benny Johnson This collection of bird poems is very somber. If working on a unit on birds, this book is your friend! There are poems about owls, pelicans, woodpeckers, and swallows. Every part of nature and climate is involved, allowing readers to relate to at least a few of the birds they may have seen in real life. Great for reading when teaching poetry of any kind as well. May be a bit too old for pre-schoolers, but definitely grades 1-3 would enjoy.
