Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-22 00:00:00 Morris Moton Amazing collection of street fashion photography from 1980s NY. There are so many unique individuals in this book, seemingly unafraid to be stared at or thought strange or eccentric. Lots of the pictures have great quotes from the subjects attached, some of which explain their fashion choices, some of which are completely unrelated to anything. The quotes are really what makes this book a fascinating insight into people and the culture of street fashion.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-13 00:00:00 Shawn Eric So, this is a book that I'm in....I'm page 37, taken in 1981 at Cooper Union NYC. I was Amy's muse in the late 70's...I'm not making that up, I've seen it in interviews! Whether I was in the book or not, it's a spectacular documentaion of NYC in the 80's, and that's more for how strong her photography is...I fit in the girl who looks like a boy category. I was 3 months pregnant with twins in a vintage, Emerald green 1960's little boys shark skin suit.
