In the book A Desert ABC, it uses the natural resources of the desert to illustrate and highlight the ABC's such as S is for scorpian. I believe this book not only helps with the alphabet but also learnng about surrounding environments and how life and creatures live throughout the world. This book I believe is great for young boys because it deals with the desert animals and becomes a more male dominanted book not saying girls wouldn't like this book but definitley is a book that is great for learning the ABC's.

An innovative alphabet book all about the caribou and its environment with rhymed couplets on each page relaying a brief description. At the back of the book is "A Caribou Compendium" that expands the information. Several million caribou still live in the tundra, bogs, barrens and forests of Canada.
