Review # 1 was written on 2020-01-29 00:00:00 James Saxton A very dry tome that probably could have been delivered better in a condensed format. Probably useful to a history novice, but not great for the well read types.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-07-06 00:00:00 Patrick Vetter Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Oh boy! Do you remember those days when the Papal Estates went completely batshit insane and started burning people all over the world to preserve the real faith? Ah! Those were the good old days. How about that time when they excommunicated all who would argue with them and even prohibited every good christian of reading a shitload of books? Those were rather fine days also. Oh wait! Do you remember those really awesome times when the church denied adopting more reasonable instance regarding important issues such as birth control and sexual orientation? They sure screwed that one up, eh? Funny thing. They never admitted they were wrong for doing any of it.
