Review # 1 was written on 2018-04-09 00:00:00 Was Has I think this book would be ideal with children discovering their identity. I would utilize this book for 2 - 5 grade students. I really enjoyed reading this book and it states that hair comes in all colors, textures, and styles. Whether it is worn long or short, in braids or cornrows, or left natural in an Afro, hair plays a big part in who we are and how we feel about ourselves.

Blow outs, afro puffs, beaded plaits, locs,...all here in this lovely, affirming book with photos to match.
